A good friend gave me this recipe along with a (at the time) decade year old starter. If you know me, email or write to me and I’ll see what I can do about getting some of the starter to you. It’s worked decently for me. Some recipes need more attention – this one is really only active for 20 minutes? (If not less.) You do need to pay attention when it gets to the oven, as you might figure, but the shaping and proofing stages are pretty tolerant to running over or under.

If it were litter, it would be on the ground, would it not?
